You can cancel your subscription whenever you like, from the link in your receipt email or by emailing us. There’s no fee and no notice period.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you’ve paid for, and you keep Shotbox until then.
- You won’t be charged again.
- Your recordings, screenshots and projects stay on your Mac; cancelling never touches them.
- Team subscriptions: removing a seat takes effect at the next monthly payment.
2Your legal right to cancel within 14 days
If you are a consumer in the UK, the law usually gives you 14 days from buying to change your mind about a digital purchase.
Shotbox is digital content that we supply straight away. So when you subscribe, we ask you to agree that you want immediate access and to confirm you understand that you lose this 14-day right once you start downloading or using Shotbox. We confirm this in your receipt email.
If you cancel within the 14 days before downloading or using the app, we will refund you in full.
Whatever happens with this legal right, our money-back guarantee below still applies.
3Our money-back guarantee
In addition to your legal rights: if Shotbox isn’t right for you, email us within 14 days of a payment and we’ll refund that payment in full. You don’t need to give a reason.
This guarantee applies to consumers and business customers alike.
4If Shotbox is faulty
If Shotbox doesn’t work as described, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, at any time, not just in the first 14 days. Tell us what’s wrong and we will fix it, or if we can’t, offer a price reduction or refund. These rights are not affected by anything on this page.
5How refunds are paid
We refund to the payment method you used, within 14 days of agreeing the refund. There is no charge for refunds. Depending on your bank, it can take a few more days to appear.
Refunds are processed by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy.
6How to cancel or ask for a refund
Use the link in your receipt email, or email support@shotbox.example with the email address you subscribed with. If you prefer, you can copy this model form into your email:
