Capture / Annotate

Point at the thing. Clearly.

Arrows, boxes, numbered steps, highlights, text and blur, drawn in an editor that exports exactly what you see, at full resolution.

Twelve tools

Select, arrow, line, rectangle, ellipse, freehand, text, step counter, highlighter, blur, pixelate and crop.

Readable on busy screens

Every mark has opacity, rounded corners and an optional drop shadow, which keeps an arrow legible over a cluttered UI.

Blur that really hides

Blur and pixelate work from the original image and are baked in on export. The hidden pixels are destroyed, not just covered.

Everything in Annotate

34 tools, styles and options, all included.

Text that stands off the page

Ten text styles, each tested white-on-white, because screenshots are mostly light and a label has to lift off them. The same styles are used for titles in the video editor.

  • Multi-line labels; Return for a new line
  • Edit the words later without losing the style
  • Size, colour and style for the selected label

Each one is tested as white text on a white page, so labels lift off light screenshots.
